More and more people realize that they can make massive fortune by becoming a netpreneur. Just look at any sales pages with all the $$$ that can make your head spin. When I just started, it surprised me at how these people can be so kind enough to let us all share their little ‘secret’ on how they made their fortune, because this doesn’t happened in an offline business. Unless you are into network marketing where your success is determined by the sheer number of ‘downlines’ or people you signed up into your network, there is no economic reason why you should share your ‘secret’ on how you make money. Well, that was what I thought then.
After reading hundreds of sales pages on the internet, I quickly recognized what offers true value and what does not and I gradually become ‘immuned’ to the $$$ that it’s no longer makes my heart skip a beat but to scroll down to see how much it would cost.
Remember once people keep bombarding you with highly hyped sales pages, it’s not long before you learn to look beyond the $$$$. I bought some ‘cheap’ ebooks less than $10 and their content are remarkably higher in value. I also bought some pricey ones – few hundred dollars and only add very little to what I already know.
I respected some savvy internet marketers who went all out to put together online interviews with other successful internet marketers thus offering truly valuable information. These are the real ‘GURU’ and they are far more likely to attract and keep new customers.
We already have too many ‘scams’ out there so let’s just be honest to ourselves and our customers. There’s no point to have opt-in when at the end of the month your inbox is full with emails from people who want to Unsubscribe from your List.
My inbox once filled with the following and I have no other option but to click ‘unsubscribe’.
1. I keep getting 2 identical emails from the same seller trying to sell the the same product and the second email came in ‘after’ I purchased the product!!
2. I got an email sounding full of excitement about a new product or service – and later that day I got 3 more of the same emails (with the exact cut and paste version). It must be from other marketers who are affiliates for the same product.
3. I also purchased an e-book full of affiliate links or links to an up-sell. It’s obvious that this ebook should be regarded as a promotional item and should be given FREE.
4. The other ‘turned-off’ thing is when the link in the ebook brought me into a webpage with MP3 streaming like nobody’s business.
5. I hate to admit this but I was coaxed into purchasing a supposedly life changing ‘Internet home course’ and all I got was photocopies of powerpoint summary presentation with a couple of useless audio CDs ( it adds nothing to my current knowledge). The seller even emailed me asking whether I have started the home course!
In the end all I can say is ‘UNSUBSCRIBE ME PLEASE’………….
